Came across PostSecret on one of my too-lazy-to-do-anything-but-surf days. I practically spent most of my day reading the postcards one by one. Some made me laugh while others tugged at my heart. It's amazing how complex the world could be and how mundane my daily problems are compared to what some people on the other side of the Earth are experiencing.

this is it. THE one.
I remember posting about how I had a hard time choosing from so many designs of wedding gowns. Ironically, it took one flip of a magazine page for me to decide. Luckily, we were able to find a designer that has previously been able to execute the style that I wanted at the price that we thought was fair. hahaha. =)
We are starting a bit early, I'll have my first measurement on Feb. 14 (yup, there goes my valentine's day.. wehehehe), right after we choose the french lace for my gown. Come June 6, the ladies will be measured and then the first fitting will be on August. Hopefully, there would be no problems. It took us a loooong time to finally complete our entourage because we specifically chose people that we knew won't let us down. Crossing our fingers that everything will go smoothly. =)
Anyway, I wanted to share a few pics of what my gown would somehow look like. =) The last few pictures are samples of Reggie's work, where some details like the train (still thinking if I'll have it longer, though) and the veil and how the lace is a bit see through will be duplicated in my gown. The ribbons on the back are actually for when the train is bustled up for the reception. =)
Special thanks to Gen of w@w for sharing her pics. =)
