music on my mind
My goal for the week: complete the song line up for the wedding and send them to Roger of Anima Choir. Whew. This is probably one of the more daunting tasks in my list.
Music is a big part of me and James and our relationship. We are polar opposites but one of the few things we have in common is our love for music. We would spend hours singing and going crazy with the videoke machine. Haha. J I fell in love with him more when I learned he is a devout member of their church chorale.
But one of my frustrations in music is I cannot read notes to save my life. Believe me, I tried. Back in high school, to save myself from Physical Education (another one of my waterloos) I joined the school band. I was given a clarinet and this huge music workbook filled with songs we had to play.
Our first assignment was to practice this short song and read the notes in front of the group. When it was my turn, it took me 30 seconds to recognize each note. And that was the end of my musical career. Hahaha.
Okay, enough with the stories. Time to get back to work. Need to finish this on time, seriously.

Taking a Bag Break
Taking another breather from preps, I was idly surfing around the web for possible gifts for our entourage. (okay it’s still partly preps but at least it’s more fun than the other stuff I subject myself to.) Hahaha. J
I saw these uber cute handbags from a Multiply shop that would be perfect for my girls. They also have backpacks and laptop bags that are equally nice as well. I am really tempted to buy from them but I am a little bit wary of online shopping, so I guess I’m gonna have to think about it first. (I’ll just share the site if I decide to buy from them.)
Speaking of bags, my room has been invaded by these huge I-Am-Going-To-The-States luggage. My mom has been going back and forth Kalibo and she seriously needs to buy smaller bags. Hahaha. They’re just too big. Hmm, maybe I can take her bag shopping this weekend. J
Sigh. Need.to.stop.thinking.about.bags.NOW. seriously. Back to preps!

Knowing the Value
with the wedding getting closer and the stress level rising, this just got to me:
Real-Time Bride: Knowing the value
by Kerri Morrone on Mar 16th 2008 2:00PM
The closer my wedding gets, the more those "don't worry about it" details start becoming sources of chaos. Guest lists and address-wrangling and invitation finalization start taking center stage. Arguments over seating charts and wedding registries become frequent and irritating. And let's not forget the financial factor, where we are desperately trying to keep our budget balanced while planning our "dream wedding."
This is all without mentioning the regular stuff: life, house, jobs, cats, etc.
With
Brides and grooms to be, remember this: You are getting married because you love each other. Know and appreciate the value of your love. There is nothing more important than that fact. No botched wedding favor or muddled seating chart takes precedence over the real reason for this momentous day - your loving and dedicated relationship.
So while the whirl of the wedding machine spins wildly, I need to remember that I am so
