music on my mind

My goal for the week: complete the song line up for the wedding and send them to Roger of Anima Choir. Whew. This is probably one of the more daunting tasks in my list.

Music is a big part of me and James and our relationship. We are polar opposites but one of the few things we have in common is our love for music. We would spend hours singing and going crazy with the videoke machine. Haha. J I fell in love with him more when I learned he is a devout member of their church chorale.

But one of my frustrations in music is I cannot read notes to save my life. Believe me, I tried. Back in high school, to save myself from Physical Education (another one of my waterloos) I joined the school band. I was given a clarinet and this huge music workbook filled with songs we had to play.

Our first assignment was to practice this short song and read the notes in front of the group. When it was my turn, it took me 30 seconds to recognize each note. And that was the end of my musical career. Hahaha.

Okay, enough with the stories. Time to get back to work. Need to finish this on time, seriously.
